To avoid confusion, I’ve changed “political humanism” in this domain’s subtitle to public intellectualism, which I now think is a broader, more accurate description of what Peace & Bread is about.
Humanism can refer to the humanities (my emphasis) as well as to a philosophy of trust placed in human reason rather than religious doctrine. But as I am not opposed to religious feeling orĀ transcendental feelingĀ or humane religious principles in general, I think it best to drop the “humanism” label.
